Paid membership website using drupal and lm_paypal
Create paid memberships for your website in drupal using the main module lm_paypal. The following modules are required with it to improve a user’s experience on your website but they are crucial for paypal payment.
Modules required
lm_paypal
email_registration
logintoboggan
cck (cck computed field, number, text ans option widgets)
node profile (node family, subform_element)
legal (check_validate)
Create content type “friend” and link in to node profile (checkbox tick it)
create whatever fields you require the user to have while registration. I had created a serial field or auto increment field as a member id using cck computed in the content type “friend”.
go to admin lm_paypal settings lm_paypal/settings
put your business paypal email address i am using sandbox so owner_1255789393_biz@sumaiyajaved.com (created by paypal sandbox test business account)
go to lm_paypal/subscriptions_settings and give url of a page created by you (optional)
go to lm_paypal/subscriptions create the subscriptions required, select subscription kind:role but first go to user roles and create roles with desired permissions
Is it possible to add the lm_paypal subscribe option in user registration form itself? if so please send the detailed information how to set that things in drupal
hmm .. it is long time back i have used lm_paypal but i think just to go http://www.drupal.org/project/modules and search for a module which offers paid user registration through paypal. Try keywords “user registration paypal” or “paid memberships”.
If i remember clearly even in lm_paypal there is a sub module that provides this service.
Hope that was helpful, and i apologize for not being able to provide the exact details on how to achieve it.
